• This year’s awards ceremony may have featured new categories, but the chain has maintained its strategy of highlighting the importance of those who sell Iberostar Hotels & Resorts throughout the world.

This weekend, Iberostar Hotels & Resorts held its 2023 Estrellas Awards at Iberostar Praia do Forte Complex, in Bahia. The first awards were held in 2006 with the aim of recognizing the hard work of its partners and rewarding tourism operators who sell Iberostar products throughout the year. The Caribbean Iberostar Hotels category was new to last year’s edition. This year’s awards featured a Latin American tour operator award and travel agent award in the new Star Agents Category.

Iberostar Hotels & Resorts turns 40 this year and is still a leader in the tourism industry worldwide due to the quality of its services.

The program started on Friday with a coquetel to the beat of the band Better Together. In addition to enjoying the all-inclusive infrastructure at the Iberostar Praia do Forte Complex, which includes restaurants with endless culinary options, bars, pools, and other entertainment options, guests also had the opportunity to discover the resort’s major action points and new guest activities. The awards ceremony was held at the Casa Golf Club and the cherry on top of the evening included celebrating to the regional sounds of the Os Filhos da Bahia band.
